I've heard some pretty good, er, make that bad mascots in my time. Like the beet diggers or the hay balers. But the college mascots listed in this article are definite winners, or should I say losers?
I always had semi-decent mascots for my schools. Well, at least in my opinion. I was an eagle in elementary school, a falcon in junior high, a golden tiger in high school and a cougar in college.

Scottsdale Community College's mascot is an Artichoke (apparently they voted in the 70's and some hippies who were against sports and violence led the Vegetarian Mascot movement.)
Elemtary=Falcon, Jr. High=Wild Cats, High School= Cobras
